Islah militias arrest al-Qaeda operative during infiltration of foreign terrorists into Taiz

TAIZ, April 29 (YPA) – Informed security sources have reported on Monday that a checkpoint belonging to Islah party’s militias in Thabab area has arrested a terrorist of an Arab origin since last Tuesday.

According to the sources, the terrorist is an Algerian, named Mohammed Abu al-Qasim, who was arrested while trying to enter the city of Taiz from Aden.

The sources explained that the Algerian terrorist was trying to enter the city of Taiz in order to support the Abu al-Abbas’s group in the fierce battles that have taken place between them and the Islah party gunmen last week.

The sources confirmed that the Algerian terrorist is a sniper training expert from a terrorist organisation located inside the city of Aden, operating with the green light from the UAE occupation forces.

According to sources, the al-Qaeda sniper expert had a transit permit from the security director of the occupied province of Aden, Shalal Shayea, under direct orders from the leadership of the UAE occupation forces.

The sources said that the Islah militias have so far kept the news of the arrest of the Algerian terrorist à secret, with the purpose of getting secret information from him.

The Algerian terrorist was kept in silent custody by the Islah militias with the goal of extracting important and confidential information about dozens of al-Qaeda operatives who were able to enter Taiz in order to join the Abu al-Abbas militias.

These reinforcements, however, have arrived late, after the Islah party managed to encircle Abu al-Abbas forces and attacked them using various types of heavy and light weapons.
