Nation vision to build strong army to defend Yemen

SANAA, April 28 (YPA) – Building the strong national army and developing its military capabilities to protect Yemen and its sovereignty is the eleventh axis from the national vision to build Yemen’s modern state.

The vision came to apply the martyred president Saleh al-Sammad’s project” a hand protects and another builds” for Yemen.

According to the vision approved by the Supreme Political Council, the army will be built on basis of modern scientific development and will enact the necessary legislation to building and protection of the state and to independent and neutralize the army for political conflicts.

The vision will establish new scientific research centers for training and rehabilitation of the armed forces to be able to participate in development and reconstruction Yemen and its infrastructure, which has been destroyed in the war launched by Saudi-led aggression coalition on Yemen since March, 26, 2015.
