60 Palestinians wounded by Israeli occupation during return marches

SANAA, April 27 (YPA) – At least 60 Palestinians were injured by Israeli occupation forces enemy during their participation in  the “Great March of Return” along the eastern strip of Gaza off the fence with the occupied territories in 1948.

 The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that 60 citizens, including 4 females, 15 children, a paramedic and a journalist had been injured by live bullets fired by Israeli soldiers stationed opposite the five return camps in the east of the Gaza Strip.

The wounded had been transferred to the ministry hospitals for treatment, the ministry added.

 The Supreme National Authority for the “Great March of Return” and breaking of the siege called on the citizens to participate in the fifty-sixth Friday of the great march  of return and break the siege, under the name “Juma al-Wahda and end the division”.

Some 272 Palestinians have been killed since the return march of March 30 last year, while some 17,000 others have been injured.
