State staffs to be paid 50% of salary next week: Finance Minister

SANAA, April 24 (YPA) – Minister of Finance in the National Salvation Government in Sanaa Dr. Rashid Abu Luhom on Wednesday announced that a half of salary would be paid to all the State employees next week.

The Minister confirmed, in a statement, that directives have been issued to the Central Bank and all units of the state institutions to rapid preparing of payroll for employees to start the payment process.

Abu Luhom called for the allocation of a fund, with which all revenues of the State, including oil and gas be deposited, in order to pay the salaries of all employees.

In his statement, the Minister of Finance renewed the call to neutralize the economy and pay the salaries of employees without politicization or selection, as that is a human and legal right.
