Over 20 coalition soldiers killed, injured in Hajjah

HAJJAH, April 23 (YPA) – At least 20 soldiers of Saudi-led coalition were killed and wounded on Tuesday as a result of destroying five military vehicles by the Yemeni army in several fronts of Hajjah province.

A military source in the engineering unit of the army confirmed that three military vehicles of the coalition forces were destroyed in ambushes in Hiran front, which led to killing and injuring over 15 elements of the coalition troops.

He added that two military vehicles were destroyed in similar ambushes set by the engineering unit in the coast of Medi, and their crews members were killed or injured.

On Monday, the army engineering unit detonated a military vehicle of the coalition with an improvised explosive device east of Hiran, and two mercenary Sudanese soldiers were shot dead in Medi desert, while a Zilzal-1 missile hit gatherings of the coalition troops in Muthalath Ahem area, leaving casualties and losses.
