Ministers of Planning, Technical Education meet UN Humanitarian Coordinator

SANAA, April 14 (YPA) – Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulaziz al-Kumim and Minister of Technical Education Ghazi Ahmed Ali Mohsen on Sunday met in Sanaa with UN Humanitarian Coordinator in Yemen Lise Grande.

The meeting discussed the nature of the damage suffered by the educational institutions and community colleges affiliated to the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training as a result of Saudi-led coalition aggression.

Al-Kumim indicated to the heavy losses caused these educational institutions by the deliberate bombing, which he said is part of war crimes that must be condemned by the international community.

The Minister of Technical Education considered the hateful targeting of these institutions violates all international norms and UN conventions that emphasize the neutralization of educational and civil institutions during conflicts and wars.

For her part, the humanitarian coordinator reiterated the importance of continuing to provide humanitarian and relief support to alleviate the catastrophic effects on the Yemeni people.
