Saudi-backed militants killed, injured in artillery shelling in Najran

NAJRAN, April 14 (YPA) – A group of Saudi-backed militants were killed and wounded on Sunday by the Yemeni army artillery fire in Najran region, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The official said that the army’s artillery forces bombed gatherings of the Saudi-backed militia in Marba’ Shaja site, which left human losses in their ranks.

On Saturday, dozens of Saudi soldiers and militiamen were killed and wounded during offensives carried by the Yemeni army forces in Raqabat Marash, Marba’ al-Hammad and al-Sowah sites and in a foiled infiltration attempt towards al-Shabaka site.
