2 Saudi-led air strikes hit Capital Sanaa

SANAA, April 10 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched two raids on the capital Sanaa on Wednesday on  a plastic production plant and a residential basement in the north of the capital Sanaa, which left a huge fire, material damage and civilian injuries, local sources told Yemen Press Agency

 According to the sources,t he coalition aircraft bombed the Al-Mu’ayad factory for the production of plastics in television district east of the al-Thwart City, causing the burning of the factory.

The same sources reported that “the fire coincided with a violent explosion of  gas cylinders inside the factory contributed to spread of  fire flames in the factory.”

They indicated that the second coalition air raid targeted a ground floor (basement) in a civilian house.

“The house was empty of residents, with the exception of the guard the house, who was wounded, by shrapnel from the raid,” one of the sources said.
