Yemeni army forces launches offensive on coalition’s positions in Jawf

JAWF, April 9 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Tuesday launched an offensive on military positions of militants loyal to Saudi-led coalition in Jawf province, northern Yemen, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

According to the official, the army forces attacked the militants’ positions at the eastern part of Sabreen area of Khub Washaef district, killing and injuring dozens of them.

Meanwhile, a military vehicle loaded with militants was destroyed by an improvised explosive device planted by army’s engineering unit in Ajasher desert, killing all those on board.
