SPC member holds UN responsible for results of siege on Yemen

SANAA, April 9 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council (SPC) Mohammed Ali al-Houthi on Monday held the United Nations responsible for consequences of the siege being imposed by Saudi-led aggression coalition countries on Yemen.

In a tweet on his Twitter account, al-Houthi noted that the United Nation “as an executive authority has legitimized the siege through the inspection mechanism.”

“We have not heard a statement by Assistant Secretary of the United Nations condemning holding eight UN-licensed oil vessels by the aggression coalition,” al-Houthi said.
