Iran announces successful test of 2 cruise missiles in naval drill

TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (YPA)- The Iranian Navy announced on Saturday the success of first test of two cruise missiles, “Qader” and “Qadeer” with ranges of 250 km and 300 km respectively, on the second day of its naval drills near the Strait of Hormuz.

The large-scale naval drill will last for three days and is held in an area of 2 million square km in the southern waters.

More than 100 naval vessels of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s armed forces, including battleships, destroyers, heavy and light submarines, aircrafts and helicopters, are participating in these drills.
