ICRC provides equipment for Saada’s Cleaning Fund

SAADA, Jan. 17 (YPA) – The sub-delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Thursday handed over equipment and supplies to the Cleaning and Improvement Fund in Saada province, in presence of the Governor Mohammed Awadh.

The equipment, worth 10 million riyals, included tires, pushcarts, batteries and cleaning tools to enhance the role of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund.

During the handover, the governor stressed the importance of supporting the Fund to enable it to carry out its task, noting that the aggression aircrafts have targeted the Fund’s infrastructure and destroyed 90% of its assets.

He hailed the role of the organizations in supporting the Fund, including the ICRC, to help the Fund to carry out its tasks.

For his part, Director of the Cleaning and Improvement Fund pointed out that the equipment would contribute to alleviate a part of the suffering of the Fund and its employees.
