Army attacks coalition militias positions, kills dozens over 24 hours: Military Media

SANAA, Jan. 16 (YPA) – The Yemeni army carried out attacks against sites of Saudi-led coalition and its militias in various battle fronts over the 24 hours, killing and injuring dozens, the Military Media said in a statement on Wednesday.

In border province of Najran, the army waged an attack sites of the militias in al-Hamad and al-Buqa desert, killing and injuring dozens of the militias, as well as destroying a military vehicle and retaking over several positions.

In Jizan province, five Saudi soldiers were shot dead by the army in site of MBC mountain, while artillery hit a camp of Eyain al-Harah, killing and wounding a number of the militias.

In province of Asir, the army foiled an attack by the militias towards sites of al-Rabuah area and fired missile, Zilzal 1, at groups of the militias in Alb crossing, inflicting heavy casualties.

Separately, dozens of the militias were killed and wounded when the army destroyed three military cars in al-Maton and Kahb Wshaf districts of Jawf province.

The army also fired several Katyusha rockets at gatherings of the militias in sites in Khab Washaf district of Jawf.

In Bayda province, a number of the militias were killed and hurt in the army’s attack on positions in Nata area.

In Dhale province, the army carried out an assault groups of the militias in Damt area, leaving heavy losses.

In Marib province, three military trucks of the militias were destroyed and their crew members were killed in the army’s artillery attack in Harib Nehm area.

In Hajjah province, the army repulsed an offensive by the militias towards Haradh area, killing dozens and wounding others on the militias.

The army also launched Zilzal 1, missile towards the militias’ gatherings in sites of al-Nar mountain in Hajjah.
