Brother of Islah Party’s leader wages armed robbery at shop in Taiz

TAIZ, Jan. 15 (YPA) – An armed gang carried out a robbery of a shop Taiz province, a source told Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.

The armed gang led by “Sadiq al-Maqalou”, the brother of a senior military leader in Islah Party, carried out on Monday the looting of contents the shop which selling perfume and accessories in Moghtarabin street.

The source said that the gang looted the shop, a week after the owner of the shop refused to pay royalties to the gang.

Al-Maqalou, is the brother of the military leader of the Islah Party, Saddam Ali al-Faqih, who serves as security officer of the 170th Air Defense Brigade of Islah party in Taiz.

 

The shops in Taiz are constantly being robbed and looted by armed gangs of military leaders loyal to the Islah Party and attributed to the exiled Hadi government.
