Anti-aggression parties call on UN to pressure coalition states to stop aggression, lift siege

SANAA, Jan. 10 (YPA) – Yemeni Anti-Aggression Parties bloc on Thursday called on the United Nations to pressure Saudi-led coalition countries to stop the aggression and lift the siege imposed on the country.

The bloc told Yemen Press Agency that the army’s military operation at al-Anad military base in Lahj province came within the guaranteed right of Yemeni people and army to confront the abhorrent occupation of Yemeni territory.

“Today’s operation is a legitimate response to the continuing crimes of aggression against civilians, women and children,” said the statement.

Earlier in the day, the army’s drone launched an attack at al-Anad base in Lahj province, southern Yemen, killing and injuring dozens of senior militia leaders loyal to the coalition.
