Shura Council hails national delegation efforts, consultations results

SANAA, Dec. 15 (YPA) – The Shura Council on Saturday praised the efforts made by the national negotiating delegation in the consultations held in Sweden under the auspices of the United Nations and the preliminary results reached during the consultations.

The council expressed, in a statement, its appreciation for the delegation’s active participation in those consultations, which affirm its keenness to achieve a just peace for the Yemeni people.

The statement stressed that the peaceful solution is the perfect choice to end the aggression and stop bloodshed in Yemen.

The council called on all parties to make further concessions in order to reach a comprehensive and just peace that preserves Yemen’s security, unity and independence.
