Canadian Prime Minister demands Saudi crown prince to answer about Khashoggi’s murder

SANAA, Dec. 2 (YPA) –Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Saturday said that he spoke to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on the sidelines of the G20 summit to discuss Canadian-Saudi issues.

“I had a “frank” exchange talks with Saudi Arabia’s crown prince on the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, the case of human rights activists detained in the Kingdom and the recent diplomatic spat between Ottawa and Riyadh,” Canadian Prime Minister told reporters.

He says that he told the Saudi crown prince of Canadian’s concerns and need for better answers on the killing of Khashoggi,” the CBC network” quoted Trudeau as saying.

Canadian Foreign Ministry announced last week to impose sanctions on 17 Saudis were involved in the killing of the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

The diplomatic crisis erupted between Saudi Arabia and Canada after Ottawa asked Riyadh to release activists detained in Saudis prisons.
