Yemeni army launches offensive in Jizan

JIZAN, Nov. 8 (YPA) – The Yemeni army on Thursday launched an offensive on Saudi-backed militants’ sites in Jizan province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The battle, which took place at Allahaj village, left dozens of Saudi soldiers and militants dead and wounded.

Meanwhile, the artillery shelled gatherings of the militants at Gais mountain, causing direct casualties.
