Coalition prevents return of ex-minister in Aden gov’t to Yemen

ADEN, Nov. 1 (YPA) – The former minister of state affairs in the exiled president Hadi’s government, Salah al-Sayadi, on Thursday said Saudi-led coalition has officially prevented him returning to the southern port city of Aden.

“After I booked a ticket to return to Aden to visit my sick mother, I was told that I was forbidden to return to Yemen and to Aden specifically by the coalition,” al-Sayadi said in a post on his page on Facebook.

“I do not know whether it is a misunderstanding or it is an understanding of badness,” he added.

Al-Sayadi has complained more than once of the coalition’s bad treatment with the government officials in Aden, especially those still residing in the Saudi capital, Riyadh.
