Awareness campaign about mental health launched in Sanaa

SANAA, Oct. 11 (YPA) – Media Wa’ei Team launched on Thursday “Taqabul campaign” to promote awareness about mental health in some schools of the capital Sanaa.

The event comes in conjunction with the World Mental Health Day, in order to introduce the campaign that seeks to raise awareness of mental health and correct the misconceptions prevalent in society about mental illness.

The campaign is organized by a youth team of four students as a graduation project for the Public Relations Department at Sanaa University’s Media College, and will last until 30 October, 2018, targeting students from some schools and universities in the capital Sanaa.

World Mental Health Day is observed every year on October 10 to raise awareness of mental illness across the globe.
