Report: Army inflicts heavy casualties on coalition militiamen over 24 hours

SANAA, Oct. 07 (YPA) – The Yemeni army inflicted heavy casualties upon the Saudi-led coalition militiamen in the combat fronts over the past 24 hours, a military official told Yemen Press Agency on Sunday.

In border province of Najran, the army fired missile, Zilzal 1, on gatherings of the militiamen in al-Ajsher desert, destroyed two military vehicles with their crew members.

In also Najran, the army foiled an attack of the militiamen towards al-Sudis site, killing and wounding a number of the militiamen.

In Asir province, the army launched a locally manufactured-missile with a salvo Katyusha rockets on the groups of the militiamen in Alib crossing and Majaza area.

In Jizan province, the army fired artillery at the Saudi soldiers’ groups in al-Khashal site.

In western coast, Dozens of the militiamen were killed and wounded when the army repulsed their attempt to infiltrate towards Hais area and destroyed two military vehicles.

In Marib province, Dozens of the militiamen, including to top commander were killed and others wounded by the army in Serwah and Nehm districts.

In also Marib, three military trucks of the militiamen were bombed and their crew members were killed by the army in al-Makhadra area.

In Taiz province, several the militiamen were killed and others injured when the army fired artillery towards their groups in al-Salu district, the official added.
