 Saudi crown prince launches his campaign of arrests outside kingdom, kidnapping Khashoggi in Turkey

SANAA, Oct. 3 (YPA) – Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Turkey  on Tuesday has kidnapped the Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi for unknown reasons .

Activists on social media platforms circulated news stating that Khashoggi was kidnapped in Turkey by a cell belonging to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman recently formed to expand his campaign of arrests outside the kingdom.

Khashoggi disappeared after entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, where he went to complete the procedures for his family papers, and contact was lost since Tuesday afternoon, a familiar source with the issue said.

The Turkish police opened an investigation into the kidnapping after receiving a report from the fiancee of Khashoggi, she was waiting for him outside the consulate building.
