6 killed in Gaza by occupation’s fires

SANAA, Sept. 29 (YPA) – Six Palestinians, including two children, were killed and 75 others were wounded on Friday by the Israeli occupation army’s fires near the eastern border of the Gaza Strip while participating in peaceful “Al-Awda” marches.

A spokesman for the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, confirmed in a brief statement that two children and four civilians were killed while 75 civilians, including 22 children, 4 paramedics, and 3 journalists, were injured.

Since the end of March, Palestinians have participated in peaceful marches near the fence separating Gaza from Israel to demand the lifting of the siege on the Gaza Strip and the return of refugees to their towns and villages that they have abandoned since 1948.

The Israeli army has violently repressed these peaceful marches; dozens of people have been killed and thousands wounded.
