Southern Transition Council official supports protests in Aden

ADEN, Sep. 3 (YPA) – The vice president of the so-called “Southern Transition Council” loyal to the UAE, Hani Bin Buraik, on Monday praised the angry popular protests against the government of the exiled president Hadi in Aden.

Buraik said: “Aden is rising against the corruption of the Hadi government, and most of its people do not find their needs.”
Buraik stressed on the stand of the southern transition to the people of society, and no other option solutions but save the citizen from the disaster only the dismissal of the corrupt government.
The city of Aden witnessed in the end of July and early August mass protests against the corruption of the government of Hadi, which returned on Sunday in all southern provinces protesting against the collapse of the national currency against foreign currencies, in light of the failure of the government of Hadi to carry out any economic reforms since the transfer of the Central Bank in mid-September 2015.
In addition to the financial corruption rampant in the government of Hadi which spent the Gulf deposits in the bank and the government’s recent printed nearly 800 billion Yemeni riyals in Russia without any cash cover.
