Zionist enemy approves new expansion in Al-Buraq Wall courtyard

QUDS, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy authorities on Monday approved a plan to expand the mixed courtyard on the occupied side of Al-Buraq Wall in the occupied Quds (Jerusalem).

The plan includes the expansion of the mixed courtyard and the road leading to it, as well as the installation of passage accessories for people with special needs, according to “Haaretz” newspaper.

The mixed courtyard in the Al-Buraq Wall, which Jews called the “Wailing Wall”, was established in 2016 to separate Orthodox worshipers, who forbid mixing of women with men during prayer, and the reformist and conservative worshipers, for whom the courtyard was established with the possibility of women praying there.

The new Zionist expansion in the Al-Buraq wall comes within the context of the ongoing Judaization and the obliteration of the Islamic identity of al-Quds since it was occupied in 1948.
