Justice Ministry: coalition crimes against civilians is war crimes

SANAA, Aug 24 (YPA) – The Ministry of Justice condemned the crime committed by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition which targeted the family in al-Ku’ai area and a displaced car in Duraihimi district of Hodeidah, killing 31 civilians, including 22 children and four women.

In a statement, the Ministry of said this terrible crime reveals to the world the ugliness of massacres committed by the coalition.

The statement stressed that the deliberate aggression to target civilians consider as war crimes and genocide against humanity punishable by international law and criminalized by all religions, heavenly laws, and human norms.

The statement called on the Arab and international humanitarian and human rights organizations, peace advocates, political forces and organizations in the world to take responsibility for the killing, destruction, genocide and unprecedented war crimes committed against children, women and the elderly in Yemen, carrying out their duty to expose the facts of these massacres and crimes to the world.

The Ministry of Justice also called on the United Nations and the Security Council to take urgent action to stop the aggression and the massacres against children, women and civilians and lift the unjust siege.
