Losses of fish sector in Red Sea up to $ 5.5 bln until end of July

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – The General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea said on Monday that the total losses of the fish sector in the Red Sea until the end of last July amounted to more than $ 5.5 billion, according to AnsarAllah Media Center.

The authority said, in a statement, the Sunday’s crime by Saudi-led coalition against fishermen raised the death toll to 217 dead, in addition to 204 wounded and four missing.

The direct aggressive targeting index of the fishing sector increased to 70 attacks, according to the authority.

The authority added that 205 boats were completely destroyed by the coalition in the coasts of the provinces of Hodeidah and Hajjah.
