Spanish police shoot man trying to attack Police station  

SANAA, Aug. 20 (YPA) – Spanish police said on Monday they had shot a man armed with a knife while trying to attack a police station in the northeastern Catalonia.

Police said on Twitter that the man entered the police station in Cornella just before 4:00 GMT “to attack the soldiers,” adding that he was shot, according to Reuters.

It was unclear if the man had died.

A police spokeswoman said she was unable to provide more information.
