Hodeidah appeals to int’l orgs to intervene to rescue wounded of Durihemi massacre

HODEiDAH, Aug. 14 (YPA) – The local authority of Hodeidah province on Tuesday appealed to international and humanitarian organizations to intervene to rescue the wounded and recover the bodies of dead in the massacre committed by the Saudi-led coalition in al-Durihemi district.

“The coalition warships and fighter jets prevented ambulance crews from reaching the district, targeting anyone who tries to aid the wounded,” a local official said.

On Monday, the coalition battleships waged a random bombardment lasted until the day, targeting citizens’ homes and shops in the district, resulting in dozens of dead and wounded.
