Israeli occupation arrests 5 fishermen in northern Gaza sea

SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – Israeli occupation naval forces arrested five Palestinian fishermen of one family on Sunday morning.

According to news agencies, the occupying naval soldiers opened fire on the boats of the fishermen off the Sudanese sea area.

They arrested the fisherman Hassan Bakr, his brother Nasser Bakr and his three sons from a fishing boat, in addition to seizing the boat.

They were all transported to the Israeli port of Ashdod near Gaza, the news agencies added.

In the West Bank, Israeli occupying forces carried out a campaign of arrests against freed prisoners, including brothers of two martyrs.

Three youths from Ramallah and two from Hebron were arrested early Sunday by Israeli occupation forces, as well as raided several areas of the West Bank.
