Oil, minerals ministry  condemns coalition’s massacre against Saada children,  considers it war crime

SANAA, Aug. 11 (YPA) – The Ministry of Oil and Minerals and its affiliated institutions strongly condemned on Friday the terrible crime committed by the coalition aircraft against children and civilians in Dahyan district of Saada province, which killed and wounded more than 100 civilians, most of them children.

In a statement obtained by Yemen Press Agency, the leadership of the Ministry of Oil and its affiliates said that this terrible massacre is a war crime requiring the prosecution of the perpetrators.

The statement stressed that the crimes committed by the coalition against the Yemeni people is contrary to all norms, charters and international humanitarian law.

The statement condemned the continued silence of the international community and humanitarian organizations on the massacres perpetrated by the coalition against Yemenis, especially children.

The ministry called on the United Nations, the Security Council and international organizations to play their role to put an end to the massacres committed by the US-backed  Saudi-led coalition aggression against the Yemeni people and to stop the war and lift the unjust siege.
