Update: 90 civilians killed, injured in Saudi-led air strikes on Yemen’s Saada

SAADA, Aug. 9 (YPA) – At least 39 civilians mostly students were killed and 51 others injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition warplanes launched several air strikes on bus students at Dhahyan city in the northern province of Saada on Thursday morning, medical sources told Yemen Press Agency.

The death toll is expected to rise due to the magnitude of the fatalities, particularly on the hospital, the sources added.

Ambulances were unable to transport the wounded to Sana’a or other provinces as they to be targeted by Saudi-led air strikes.
