Saudi coalition members hinder peaceful solutions in Yemen

SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition blockade of Yemeni port city could spark catastrophic new cholera epidemic, The Canadian Global News reported.

“The resumption of the Saudi-led air strike campaign on Yemeni’s main port city of Hodeidah could create ideal conditions for a catastrophic new cholera outbreak that could affect thousands of people”, according to the Website.

It added that Saudi Arabia and its allies are launching heavy air strikes on Hodeidah, thwarting what the site considered a truce that lasted nearly a month which the United Nations hoped would aid efforts at a political solution to the conflict.

The United Nations hopes that current efforts would help to find a political solution to the conflict, but the coalition states are putting obstacles in the way of peaceful solutions.
