Deputy FM Meets IOM official

SANAA, July 30 (YPA) – Deputy Foreign Minister, Hussein al-Azzi, on Monday met with Deputy Resident Representative of the International Organization for Migration, Stefano Pace.

In the meeting, the officials discussed the efforts of the international organization in the voluntary repatriation of illegal immigrants from the countries of the Horn of Africa to their countries.

The meeting touched on the organization’s efforts to help displaced people, especially those coming from the Western Coast, and to ensure providing them with assistance in order to alleviate their humanitarian suffering.

Pace praised the level of cooperation between the Organization and the Government of Salvation, expressing thanks for the efforts of the Government of Salvation in providing an environment conducive to the full functioning of the Organization.
