Army shoots dead Saudi soldier, shells military gatherings in Najran

NAJRAN, July 6 (YPA) – The Yemen army on Friday shot dead a Saudi soldier and shelled gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen in Najran border province, a military official told Yemen Press Agency.

The Saudi soldier was sniped in Shurfa site while artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of the militiamen in Boqea desert, causing direct casualties.

During the past two days, the army repelled militiamen’s infiltration attempets in front of Najran, killing and wounding dozens.
