President urges further efforts to improve telecommunications, internet service

SANAA, July 5 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat on Thursday urged further efforts to be exerted to improve the telecommunications and internet service.

The president discussed, in a meeting with Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology, Musfer al-Nomair, the difficulties facing the telecommunications sector due to the systematic targeting of the aggression to the sector’s infrastructure.

The meeting touched on dimensions of the vandalistic and separatistic telecommunication project in Aden, which is directly linked to a controlling management in one of the aggression countries, and its consequent risks and threats to the sovereignty and security of the Republic of Yemen.
