Car bomb explosion kills 5 people in Mogadishu

MOGADISHU, Nov. 25 (YPA) – At least five people were killed and 15 others were wounded Thursday in a car bomb blast near a school in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.

“A car bomb exploded, and it was confirmed that five people were killed and 15 wounded, including a number of students,” Agence France-Presse quoted the security official, Muhammad Abdullah, as saying.

The Somali capital and other regions of the country are witnessing bombings and attacks, most of which are attributed to the “Al-Shabaab” movement.

Last March, more than 20 people were killed and dozens were injured in a terrorist car bombing in Mogadishu.
