Naval boats carrying weapons arrive in Aden

ADEN, Oct. 03 (YAP) – Several naval boats carrying a large amount of weapons arrived on Sunday at the Crater district in the city of Aden, southern Yemen.

According to political sources, the naval boats were sent by the Saudi-backed Islah militants to Crater, coming from the coastal port of Shaqra in Abyan province.

The sources affirmed that the Islah Party would conduct the military arrangements to engage in armed confrontations with the UAE-funded Southern Transitional Council (STC) in central Aden.

The sources indicated that hundreds of gunmen loyal to the Islah in the district of Al-Mualla and Sheikh Othman are prepared to confront the STC militias.
