Gov’t spokesman hails army victories in west coast front

SANAA, June 10 (YPA) – The National Salvation Government’s spokesman, Abdulsalam Jaber, on Saturday praised the victories have been achieved by Yemeni army forces in the west coast front.

“The heroes of the army and popular committees have carried out a unique operation, which resulted in the cleansing of the entire area of Al-Jah and the killing and wounding of dozens of mercenaries, including leaders,” Jaber said in a statement to Saba news agency.

The cleansing of the al-Jah area opens the way for the army to purge the remaining areas in the western coastal strip, he added.

The spokesman said that Saudi-led coalition warplanes bombed gatherings of Saudi-led coalition mercenaries in al-Khokha junction after their withdrawal from the west coast. He added that the bombing was at the request of the UAE-backed mercenary Tariq Saleh, the former president Saleh’s nephew.

Jaber called to the sons of the southern provinces participating in ranks of the coalition to return to the right path and to realize the size of the plot that targets them.

He affirmed the readiness of the army forces in the west coast front and all other fronts and that the coming days will witness decisive victories.
