Al-Houthi holds UN responsible for any leakage in ‘Safer’ Reservoir

SANAA April 05 (YPA) – Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, on Monday held the United Nations responsible for any environmental disaster due to the crude oil leakage from the floating ‘Safer’ reservoir on the coast of the Red Sea in Hodeida province.

Al-Houthi said in a tweet on “Twitter”: “They said there will be a great risk and an environmental disaster of the leakage in Safer. So we said, come with your experts to fix it, but months and days passed without a response.”

“It has been proven to the world that their slogans are false and their move aimed only to serve the American, British, Saudi, and Emirati aggression and its allies against the Republic of Yemen,” he added.

He continued, “We reaffirm that the United Nations is fully responsible for any leakage.”
