New military reinforcements arrive in Lahj

LHAJ, Feb. 20 (YPA) The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia pushed military reinforcements to Lahj governorate, south of Yemen.

According to military sources, dozens of fighters of the so-called Support Brigades and the Security Belt arrived in Tor Al-Baha, and created security points and barriers at the entrances and exits of the districts of the province.

Tor al-Baha district has seen great tension between the STC militias and the Turkish-backed Islah militants, in an attempt to advance through the district towards the Aden city, south of Yemen.
