Clashes break out between two tribes in Marib

MARIB, Jan. 18 (YPA) – A violent clashes broke out on Monday evening between two tribes in Marib province, tribal sources reported.

According to the sources, the clashes erupted between al-Jalal and Al Shabwan tribes in Abeidah valley.

The sources indicated the two sides used various types of medium and heavy weapons and resulted in casualties on both sides.

A tribal mediation from al-Jadaan intervened to stop the clashes, but the situation remained tense between the two sides, the sources added.
