Coalition pays billion riyals to Marib sheikhs to confront army

MARIB, Jan. 11 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition on Monday directed to pay the half a billion Yemeni riyals, to a number of sheikhs of Marib province with dozens of military vehicles, during the past hours.

According to informed sources, the coalition ordered Marib governor loyal to the coalition, Sultan Al-Arada, to pay 500 million Yemeni riyals and 60 military vans distributing to some sheikhs of Jadaan tribes in Marib and Dahm in Jawf to confront the Yemeni army.

The sources affirmed that the Saudi temptations came in attempts by the coalition to stop the military advances by the Yemeni army towards Marib and controlled over the city.

The coalition is seeking to pay money and make material temptations to Jawf and Marib tribes and sheikhs to confront the Sanaa forces and protect the city after its forces failed in foiled the military developments achieved by the Yemeni army towards the city of Marib.

The military leaders of the coalition have exploited the need of some sheikhs of Marib for money, to throw their sons to the death to defend the coalition escaping the military confrontations with the army and the popular forces.
