French companies train coalition militants since war on Yemen begins

SANAA, Nov. 21 (YPA) – A French investigative report revealed that French companies specializing in training have implemented various programs for  Saudi-led coalition militants since the start of the war in Yemen.

The investigation, prepared by MediaPart, found that Saudi Arabia relied heavily on French military companies to train coalition militants in the use of French-made weapons.

It confirmed that Yemeni civilians were living under the threat of weapons manufactured in France, including some 50 Howitzers, according to a confidential report by the French military intelligence agency.

Earlier, intelligence reports revealed that French weapons were being used in the Yemen war by Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Non-governmental organizations have denounced the export of French arms to the coalition it uses against civilians.
