Explosion targets military commander loyal to coalition in Marib

MARIB, Oct. 18 (YPA) – A military commander loyal to Saudi-led coalition survived an assassination attempt in Marib province. This was reported on Sunday by Yemen News Portal, based on local sources.

According to the sources, an improvised explosive device exploded and targeted a military vehicle carrying the military commander Fahad bin Humid al-Obaidi, near the Ben Jaber market south of Marib city.

The blast caused damages to the military vehicle and wounded al-Obaidi , the source said.
