MAHRA, Oct. 2 (YPA) – Armed clashes erupted at dawn on Friday between pro-Saudi military forces and militants in Al-Ghaydah city, the capital of Mahra governorate, in the far east of Yemen.
Sources reported that a pro-Saudi military force opened fire on an armed group near Al-Ghaydah airport, confirming that the clashes are still continuing until the time of writing the news on Friday afternoon.
The medium and light weapons are being used in the clashes, the sources added, indicating that a violent explosion took place this morning in the area of clashes, believed to be caused by an explosive device.
