YPC Official: nearly 50 million dollars are fines for detained oil tankers

SANAA, Oct.1 (YPA) – The Executive Director of the Yemeni Oil Company (YPC) Ammar Al-Adhruee said that the fines for delaying the detained oil tankers have now reached nearly fifty million dollars.

Al-Adhruee pointed out, during the meeting with the Prime Minister and Minister of Oil Ahmed Darras, that the number of detained ships has reached 19 ships whose cargo are petrol, diesel and gas.

He indicated that the total quantities of oil and gas derivatives are 485,456 tons, including 203,480 tons gasoline, 205,575 tons of diesel, and 16,356 tons of gas.
