Director of Presidency Office inaugurates service projects in Hajjah

HAJJAH, Sep. 26 (YPA) – Director of the Presidency Office, Ahmed Hamed, and Governor of Hajjah province Hilal Al-Sufi opened on Saturday a number of service projects in the province at a total cost of 534,385,000 Yemeni riyals.

Hamed and Al-Sufi laid the foundation stone for 15 projects in the public works and roads sector in a number of districts at a cost of 121,567,000 riyals, in addition to agricultural projects in Bani Qais area at a cost of 59,390,000 riyals.

They also opened the department of obstetrics emergency and microbiology laboratory, and the internal laboratory of the inpatient departments, incubators, centers of dental and external radiology, and the oncology and dialysis units at the ‘Republic Hospital’ in Hajjah.

The Director of the Presidency Office and the Governor of Hajjah also inaugurated a project to rehabilitate the September 21 Medical Complex.

In the opening, Hamed praising the interest and cooperation of the province governor and the local officials in improving the level of services provided to citizens in the province, especially in light of the conditions the country is going through due to the continued aggression and blockade.

The governor, Al-Sufi, indicated that these projects, which were opened and the foundation stone laid for, come within the framework of the celebration of the sixth anniversary of the September 21 Revolution.

He noted to the diversity of projects in the fields of health, roads and irrigation channels.
