Zionist forces launch massive arrests in West Bank, Al-Quds

SANAA, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The Zionist enemy forces launched a massive arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds, at dawn on Monday.

According to Palestinian sources, the enemy forces arrested a young man from the city of Hebron and the town of Deir Samet, southwest of Hebron, after searching their homes and tampering with their contents, and took them to an unknown destination.

In the same context, the occupation forces set up several military checkpoints at the northern and southern entrances to the city of Hebron, and at the entrances to the towns of Sa’ir and Halhul, and stopped citizens’ vehicles, searched them, and checked the cards of their passengers, which caused obstruction to their movement.

The enemy forces also arrested the elderly activist Khairy Saeed Hanoun (61 years), after they raided his home in the town.

The enemy forces attacked the elderly Hanoun during their suppression of a protest against the seizure of the lands of the villages of Jabara, al-Ras and Shufa, southeast of Tulkarm, at the beginning of this month, with the aim of establishing a settlement industrial zone on it.

In additional the enemy forces arrested two young men from their homes near the Lions Gate in occupied al-Quds.
