Islah militants terrify STC militias in Lahj

LAHJ, Sept. 14 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias have implemented a military deployment plan in a number of northern areas of Lahj province.

Local sources confirmed that the STC militias have reinforced their military positions with hundreds of elements to the areas of Sabiha and Tor al-Baha  to confront the al-Islah militants coming from al-Hujaryah

The sources said that the deployment plan was supervised by a number of military leaders, including “Fourth Region” commander Fadl Hussein and commander Muthanna Jawas.

According to the sources, the reinforcements were concentrated in the Directorate of Tor al-Baha, the headquarters of the “4th Brigade” Hazm , which is under the control of the STC militias.

It is clear that the plan for the deployment of the STC militias, in the face of attempts by the Islah to bring down the areas of Tor al-Baha and Sabiha, in a process of encircling and stifling the STC in Aden.

Al-Islah pushed its militants into the areas of Lahj, after taking control of the “35th Brigade” and all the al-Hujaryah heights overlooking the areas of the west coast, including Al-Sabiha and  Tor Al-Baha, the northern gate of Aden.
